Fixed Widget - Overview
Fixed widget are the widgets that are not editable easily. To edit fixed
widget you must have the knowledge of HTML.
Some theme have some unusable fixed widget in their template Or sometime
the user don't need that fixed widget.
In this tutorial we are going to learn how we can edit such fixed widget
for our user convenience.
What is Fixed Widget ?
Fixed widget are widgets that we can not remove directly from layout option
in blogger.
There is no remove option for fixed widget in blogger. To remove this we have to go through HTML editing.
How To Remove/Edit Fixed Widget
To remove or Edit Fixed Widget follow the following steps:
Step 1: Go to Your blogger dashboard.
Step 2: Go to Layout option.
Step 3: Select a fixed widget that you want to edit or remove.
Step 4: Go to Theme option.
Step 5: Click on Edit HTML option from dropdown menu.
Step 6: Click on Jump To Widget Icon on the top right side.
Step 7: Select the fixed widget you want to remove.
